1920's: HAMILTON AND PARK AVENUES, VILLA PARK

From my "VILLA PARK" folder, this photo was part of a real estate ad relating to the area of Hamilton Township's Norway/Hamilton Avenue area. In my younger years this was occupied as a store known as "Margerum's" where I often stopped for a double dip (side by side) vanilla ice cream cone.

Tom, isn't this bldg. located a block away on the corner of Hamilton and Olden? Not many structures resemble this particular building.

Tom, This photo doesn't appear to be the corner of Park Ave, and Hamilton Ave. The corner soda fountain would be on the opposite side of the street, and the trolley wouldn't be on Park Ave. This corner was occupied by a Tydol Gas Station.
I, too, believe this may be the corner of Olden Ave, and Hamilton, where this building was a Drug store. The trolley would be on Olden Ave. Just my opinion. rayfromvillapark
P.S. Hope all is well. I haven't visited your blog in a while.
