1896: ST. MARY'S GRAMMAR SCHOOL

The building is still there, but the school is long gone. Many Mercer area residents have ancestors who attended that grand old school on the corner of North Warren and Bank Streets in Trenton.

1892: St. Mary's School

One of the fascinating aspects of historical research is finding articles such as this one. Convery, Dwyer and many other old family names are in the listing of those students who attended St. Mary's Grammar School back in the latter part of the 19th century. I would guess that the names would be of interest to anyone whose relatives attended St. Mary's during those years.
