1873: HAMILTON AVENUE METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH

THIS STATUESQUE OLD BUILDING STILL STANDS ON HAMITON AVENUE CORNER OF HUDSON STREET. APPARENTLY THE ORIGINAL BUILDING WAS OF RED BRICK AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO ON THE LEFT, AND LATER ENLARGED TO THE PRESENT STATE, AS SEEN ON THE RIGHT.

1934: Hamilton Avenue M.E. Church

The historic old Hamilton Avenue M.E. Church still stands at the corner of Hudson Street. It is no longer occupied by the Methodists. The photo accompanying this post is a photo of the original building which occupied the site prior to the construction of the current edifice.
