In the really olden days, elderly retirees like those in the photo above, sat around a pot belly stove in a general store and traded stories and lore from their younger years. These gentlemen, from the Local History "CHAMBERSBURG" folder, carried on the tradition, sans pot belly stove and set up shop is Sam Paolo's establishment on Hudson Street in the Chambersburg neighborhood.

1979: SAM PAOLO'S HUDSON STREET FISH AND PRODUCE
