Here's a bit more to be added to the newly formed COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY folder in the Hamilton Library Local History Collection. For a touch of antiquity, I scanned it in sepia instead of converting it to grayscale. ----adds a bit of class to the graphic, don't you agree? (By the way,due to the larger size of a color or in this case sepia graphic, I usually convert them to gray scale.

1931: The College of New Jersey: In the Beginning
These two photos of the buildings under construction for the Trenton State Teachers College show two different buildings under construction. I believe the photo on the left is of the Bliss building, but I could be in error. I can't identify the building on the right. Perhaps the final appearance would identify it. Perhaps a knowledgeable visitor can verify the Bliss building and identify the photo on the right. The new college would ultimately replace the "Normal School" on North Clinton Avenue in Trenton.

Circa 1905: Trenton's State Normal School

Thanks to Jim Puliti, a regular viewer of my website, this beautiful post card view of the State Normal School, once located on North Clinton Avenue on the site of the current Grant School.
THANKS JIM.
