How this neighborhood has changed over the last 50 or 60 years! I opted for the largest enlarged view I could manage on this blog, and this is the result. It took a bit of PhotoShop "tweaking" to balance the brightness/contrast/gamma etc. settings.
This is the corner of S. Logan St. What has survived in Trenton more than anything else? Establishments with liquor licenses. Other bits of Trenton infrastructure remain: man hole covers, storm drain openings and telephone poles. This wasn't a bad part of town back in the year I was born - few of them were, I guess. How the human element has changed the city.

Right you are, Bill. The bar on the corner became Frank and Vi's tavern; a favorite watering hole for workers at the Acme Rubber Plant.
