1939: PENNINGTON AND PARKWAY AVENUES

What a familiar photo! Back in the 1950's I often had lunch at Cook's Luncheonette on Parkway Avenue with Bill Kuestner and Andy Kettle. The best sandwiches around at the time! Let's see, there was Sohl's, Trenton Axle Wheel and Brake and some long forgotten shops in that area. Peter's garage as seen in the background was one of our sources for tires and general auto repairs. In later years, I recall Ed Peters as being involved in the antique auto hobby.
