1903: TRENTON FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY 107 YEARS AGO

Always an asset to the city of Trenton, the Trenton Public Library has fallen on hard times. It is one of the most precious resources in the city of Trenton, and I, along with most right-thinking citizens, pray that there will be a turnaround for one of the most necessary public venues in Trenton.

Hi Tom: I cannot imagine Trenton without the public library. It is a vital resource even in this day of email, Google and Kindle. There is nothing like curling up with a good book and having a cup of tea in the afternoon. I grew up using the library's branch on Hermitage Avenue and was a frequent user at the main branch while I was at Rider. I too hope there will be a turnaround for the city's library.
