1945: BOCCI: AN ITALIAN CLASSIC

There is a group of avid Bocci players who gather at the Bocci court at Kuser Farm. Bocci is a sport that requires substantial skill and is a real treat for those of us who are not adept at the sport. Above is the schedule for the Trenton Bocci League, 1945.

Hi Tom: Talking about Bocci reminds me of an outstanding right handed professional bowler who slid on his right foot when releasing the ball. Every right handed bowler I ever saw slid on the left foot. He was in the habit of bowling that way from many years of playing Bocci. He was among the best bowlers in the State with an average of over 200.

VERY INTERESTING, RALPH. BEING RIGHT HANDED, I TRIED TO IMAGINE BOWLING WITH MY RIGHT FOOT INSTEAD OF MY LEFT BUT THINK I WOULD HAVE FALLEN ON MY FACE.
