1930: HERMITAGE AND EDGEWOOD AVENUES

SStill another of those great old pics of Trenton of yore! This one's for you, Sally Gilman, one of my earliest visitors. Don't miss the "STRAND" theater on the immediate left.
NOTE: I LEFT THIS IN A FULL SIZE SCAN SO YOU CAN ENLARGE IT AND TAKE A WALK IN THAT GREAT OLD NEIGHBORHOOD!

Tom: Thanks for the memories. We always went to The Stand then across the street for ice cream at The Artic. I appreciate the wonderful picture of Hermitage. Sally Logan Gilman

Tom - This is a great pic - really gives me a feel for the area. My husband's gr-grandfather, David C. Johnston was the mgr of the Strand for many yrs and lived at 631 Edgewood Ave. He & his wife, who was the sister of Charles Hildinger, also rented out rooms to people who worked at the theater.
