Not only did I waste 40-plus years working at a dead end job, I lost much of the local news during those 40-plus years as I commuted daily to New Brunswick and Monmouth Junction. I really lost contact with much of what was going on locally. The above article took me completely by surprise. As a Yankee fan for over 50 years, I had many Yankee players on the top of my "favorites" list. Bouton was not one of them. I especially thought his book "Ball Four" was as we used to say, "bush league." However, that was and is my opinion, and mine alone. I would bet that there were many Yankee fans who were also Bouton Fans.

1970: FORMER YANKEE BOUTON PITCHES FOR TRENTON'S PAT PAVERS
