Right now I am going through my favorite period of history, the World War II era. This photo identifies only a few of the ladies who patriotically gave of their time and energy to make surgical dressings for the war effort. During WWII we all pulled together. The naysayers who are so vocal in today's society were marginalized, and rightly so.
