If you have been to Kuser Park recently, you have undoubtedly seen the sign posted at the front lawn of the mansion, indicating that the building is under construction. Hamilton's work crews are are hard at work re-painting the Kuser mansion and making repairs to sections which have deteriorated over the years. Mayor Gilmore sent chips of the original paint away to a lab to analyze the layers of paint, which would reveal the original color of the building. Early photos of the edifice indicate that it was a lighter shade of gray.
