This is for you, Sally Logan Gilman. The intersection you and I remember is nowhere near what you see in the Google photo above. John's old diner has been replaced by the large diner you see in the background of the intersection. I think it is called the 3 Peters Diner.

Hi Tom: Thanks for the quick response. They call that a "diner?'' I don't know how long it's been there but it looks like a discount store from the google view.It must be relatively new -- we have not been in Trenton since 2009 so it must have happened since then. Again, many thanks for solving my little mystery. Regards
Hi Sally: It is now known as "Two Peters Diner" and MUCH larger than the old Parkside Diner that reposed on the corner of Parkside and No. Olden Avenue Extension. It was a daily stop for me back in the early 1950's when I worked across the street at the old Trenton Bearing Company at 1812 No.Olden.
