1935: BUMPER TO BUMPER PARKING

Pray tell, how is the guy in the middle going to get out of that tight spot in the photo? This was extracted from a larger view of North Broad Street at the intersection of East and West State Street. In all the years I journeyed into Trenton, all those center city parking spots were off limits.

HI AGAIN TOM....THAT PARKING WAS A BIG HEADACHE. MANY TIMES I FOUND MYSELF HEMMED IN AND HAD TO WAIT FOR PEOPLE TO RETURN TO THEIR CAR. DOWNTOWN PARKING LOTS WERE HARD TO FIND AND THE COPS WERE STRICT ABOUT WHERE YOU PARKED. I CAN'T RECALL DRIVING INTO TOWN, IT WAS A BUS, TROLLEY OR WE WALKED. REGARDS.

I can only imagine the difficulty, espcially with no power steering!
