With one of my favorite cars front and center. I am pretty sure that is a 1940 Ford convertible though it could be a Mercury. The dark grille makes me lean toward Ford? I wonder when the Western Union closed it's doors?

I WORKED AT THE BANK ON THE CORNER OF W.STATE AND S.WARREN WHERE THE FLAG IS HANGING. WE USED TO GO TO LUNCH AT SCOTT TAYLOR'S PHARMACY. IT'S THE ONLY PLACE I WENT THAT CUT THEIR SANDWICHES INTO 3 QUITE EVEN PIECES. ALICE
Ray, thanks for that. I think that either the Ford or Merc of 1940 was the best looking of that era though a few of my pals held out for the Mercury "turtleback", which led to some spirited conversations.
My pal Charlie Webster, former Trenton Historian told me that Scott-Taylor Drugs had the first telephone in the city and you just dialed "1".
