The link below will take you to many of my Facebook entries over the past months. Navigating Facebook can be intimidating to some, so I posted the link below to take you to the main section of my page. Some of the slide shows are preserved for posterity in the Hamilton Township Library Local History Collection. Your comments will be welcome. Enjoy!

It was "George Luthre Bannister, if you don't spell it right, I'll send it back!" 1260 AM radio.
You know what Bill? YOU ARE RIGHT! You know something else? I forgot that spelling until I received this from you. You are so old, you probably remember "Thunderbird Wine!"
Tom
Never had the stuff myself, but I remember the commercial and remember seeing the bottles in at Hub Liquors at Beatty and Broad.
What's the word? Thunderbird!
How's it sold? Good and cold!
What's the jive? Bird's alive! What's the price? Thirty twice!
This was a commercial for E & J Gallo's first wine, and was it ever a bad one.
The worst wine I ever did was E&J Gallo's Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino, properly purchased in a paper bag from a liquor store in Providence. It was the day before we shipped out from Quonset Point.
We took in a movie: Clint's "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." Just me my shipmates and our bottles. That went real well, trust me!
