1922: THE WASHINGTON CROSSING IN AS IT WAS


I placed this in my "HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL" folder due to the fact that this historic treasure has been the host for countless high school reunions. As I recall, my class of 1951 had 2 or 3 reunions here. The photo above from 1922 is far different from the Inn as it is today. Many modifications have been made and the area expanded.

This is the McConkey Ferry Inn. In the 1930's the people who ran this as the Washington Crossing Inn bought the Taylor house down the street and the Washington Crossing Inn that we know today came to be!
