1936: NORTH WARREN AND PERRY STREETS

Here's another beautiful Duke University R.C. Maxwell photo of the very familiar intersection of North Warren and Perry Street in Trenton as seen from St. Mary's Cathedral. The clarity on these photos is remarkable. The original was scanned in as color but I have converted it to gray scale giving it an additional clarity boost. The businesses along Perry Street are interesting, including the "Cathedral," and the radio repair shop. Had that car parked next to the "NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER" sign been ticketed, we might even have seen the summons! I am particularly intrigued by the wooden building that houses the restaurant and radio shop. I wonder when it was built and who occupied it in earlier years.
