2012: Bow Hill Ca. 1940's

I received this very nice photo of Bow Hill mansion from Ms. Marge Miccio,of Trenton's Artifacts Gallery who is offering it on Ebay for anyone who wants to own a piece of Hamilton history. I have tweaked it in Photoshop and converted it from RGB to grayscale adding bit more antiquity to the photo.
Check Marge's auction at:

Hi Tom:)

There is a Burg connection here too. The southern part of the Italian peninsula was The Kingdom of Naples for like 600 years prior to the Italian reunification in the 1860s. (It was called The Kingdom of the 2 Sicilies its final few decades but was always referred to as The Kingdom of Naples by the Brits to the end). Joseph Bonaparte was briefly made King of Naples by his brother Napoleon after it was conquered. Many Burg area original Italian Immigrants' fathers or grandfathers were born in The Kingdom of Naples and their great or great great grandfathers lived under Joseph Bonaparte as their King. Napoleon then had trouble in Spain and so moved his brother Joseph from The Kingdom of Naples over to Spain where he made him King again.
Of course when Joseph was King of Spain, Wellington showed up...and Joe said "yanno I miss Paris, bye". That Wellington beast then showed up again at Waterloo..and him and his Prussian buddies helped "arrange" Joe coming to America..and they gave Joes brother a free all expenses paid trip to the Island of Saint Helena.

(Which is still connected to the Burg...the NEW Burg..LOL).
