Nice pic on Facebook of THS in the snow. Always loved the building when I lived cattycorner from it on Hamilton. Went to the library in the front across from St Francis from the age of 3 with my mom. Tom, any chance you have pics of the old school on the corner of Hamilton and Chestnut?

Thanx so much, Tom. Found it and it looks exactly as I remember from the 40s
The military from Dix took it over and used as a HQ & it was very busy. As I said a while ago, the motor pool was in a garage in the 500 block of Hamilton across from the A&P. We lived over our restaurant at 541 and the guys came to eat my Irish grandmom's food from breakfast to dinner. They were a great bunch of guys and made me their mascot. We sold the store around '45 at the time they all moved out. Strange thing, I worked for the Dept of Def in later years and retired after 21 years as civilian with Army all over the world ending up at Ft Dix. There are no coincidences, hmmm?
