1916:LAIRD PHARMACY IN THE CHAMBERSBURG SECTION OF, TRENTON

A bit of Photoshop digital magic and we have a fine example of one of Chambersburg's respected merchants from the middle of the 20th century. The Laird name is also associated with a store that once was located on the corner of East State Street and Johnston Avenue in Hamilton Township. Believe it or not, the invoice voucher and receipt from Laird's was included in a huge collection of old Hamilton files that were destined for the recycle bin way back in the 1960's. I was fortunate in acquiring them and saving them for historic purposes.
