1985: KUSER FARM MANSIONS IN MAY: GONE ARE THE DAYS

The activities at Kuser Farm Mansion have lessened over the past 20-plus years. Perhaps due to the fact that there has been less interest on the part of the town fathers (and mothers?) to spur activity at the magnificent old Victorian mansion and grounds. The past summer saw blatant parking violations at the farm with thoughtless visitors parking on the grassy areas which the township workers try so hard to preserve. With the arrival of Sayen Gardens, weddings have apparently been moved from Kuser to the more exclusive setting of Sayen. Weddings are seldom held at the Kuser gazebo as it was during former Mayor Jack Rafferty's administration. Additionally, fiscal constraints has caused the township to forgo the very high expense of paid musical talent. However, in the spirit of volunteerism, I am trying valiantly to bring some of the local population back to the farm with my numerous mansion programs, and my upcoming summer Sunday afternoon musical presentation
"MUSIC FOR A SUMMER AFTERNOON."
aimed at the 40 to 90 age group of mature music lovers.
I am currently working on a 7 or 9 week program beginning in June: Stay tuned for a future announcement.

My fiance and I are getting married next year and would love to have our wedding at Kuser park as it is locate behind our high school were we met, Mc Corristin Catholic High. But upon visiting the park we had some concerns that we may be prohibited from having alcohol on the premises which would rule out this location for us to have our wedding reception... are there any permits we can apply for to be able to have our dream wedding at this gorgeous and significant location?

Thank you! I will try contacting the parks and recreation department. Also do you have any further contact info, is there anyone over at the mansion we can speak to regarding further redemption details and questions we have? We've called the number listed for the Kuser Farm Masion and have left several messages with a call back number but still no response. Any further info or advice would be greatly appreciated. And thanks again. My email address in amasi89@gmail.com.
