1930: TRENTON'S PARKING PROBLEM

It has always been a real problem for the city of Trenton which, like many other Colonial towns on the east coast, was laid out long before the advent of huge trucks and the automobile. I believe that the city parking problems had a great deal to do with the success of the many malls that have sprung up over America during the past 50 years. years. Mayor Labarre's solution was not very popular with the downtown merchants of the city of Trenton.
