I recall going to the Trenton Fair Grounds to see the terrific display of sky and ground fireworks. I do recall sparklers were allowed. Regards.
Ralph, When I was around 10, my mom took a friend of mine and I up to Calwalder Park and the fireworks were spectacular. It was around the end of the war and they seemed kinda scary. Coming home we had to walk a long way to get a bus because all the buses were packed. We lived on S. Olden near the corner of Hamilton then. A LONG way to go.
