Those visitors who are old enough to recall Studebakers, Nashes and Hudsons will recall that the "Big 3" auto makers,Ford-GM andChrysler, did a splendid propaganda program, spreading the word that the aforementioned Studebaker, Nash, and Hudson automobiles were inferior and had little trade in value. In reality, those 3 manufacturers produced high quality autos and were innovators of many features that the big 3 didn't have. Remember the "hill holder" on Studebakers and Hudsons? Remember the Nash "Weather Eye" heating and cooling system? Remember the starter being under the clutch on the Studebaker? I could never afford to own a restored car, but if I could, it would be a Studebaker, Hudson, or a Nash from the 1930's and 40's. Quality is timeless!
