South Trenton has always held a strange fascination for me. Reading about Mill Hill, Sacred Heart Parish, Lamberton, Bloomsbury, the water front, Ferry Street, and more recently the incredible emulation of the area, as like the proverbial "Phoenix" is attempting to rise from the ashes. The storied First Baptist Church on the corner of Bridge and Centre Streets is of particular interest. The article above gives an interesting look at Rev. Wishart, who was a prominent and respected citizen in years past.
