2010: THE SNOW STORM TO END ALL SNOW STORMS

I had to push hard on my storm door to open it and get this photo of the historic blizzard we had here in Hamilton and along the Atlantic coast. This was taken before the final count of 18 inches was recorded in my front yard. Look closely and you can see the heavy snow flakes. The back to back snow storms we had over the past week provided an incredibly difficult challenge to Mayor Bencivengo, Rich Balgowan and the Hamilton Township Public Works employees who worked round the clock opening our streets, roads and public places. As a bonified tax paying Hamilton, I offer my personal congratulations on a job well done!

OH, BY THE WAY, FELLOW SUFFERERS OF "Cabin Fever:"
*ONLY A FEW DAYS UNTIL THE CATCHERS AND PITCHERS REPORT FOR SPRING TRAINING!
*ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE WE SEE THE ROBINS RETURN FROM THEIR SOUTHERN HABITAT.
*I CHECKED THE FORSYTHIA BUSHES AT KUSER FARM PARK. THEY ARE MATURING NICELY. AND WILL BE BLOOMING BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.
*DAFFODIL AND CROCUS BULBS ARE PUSHING THROUGH THE SURFACE OF MOTHER EARTH.
SPRING IS COMING; HANG IN THERE!
