It would be a rare event if there were not at least one "Gropp" family member in an old Yardville photo. The Gropp family have been among the most prominent and respected members of the ccommunity. Note that the sixth individual seated on the first row, right, is un-identified.

I believe Pat Magee in this picture is the same Pat Magee who was a player on the 1928 Broad Street Park Buds baseball team, champions of the Central Jersey League and coach for the 1929 Broad Street Park Buds, championship basketball team.

RE the picture of the 1917 Lakeside basketball team. I didn't know this picture existed. The mgr was my grand father and the player was my father George Sr.
Another comment re the 1917 photo of the School of Industrial Arts shop building. The building no longer exists as the area is now a parking lot. I went to this building when it was part of Trenton Jr. College. It was a lab, classroom and shop building when I attended under the GI Bill. TJC which was headquartered in the Kelsey Bldg was in existence until it became Mercer County Community College.
