GROVEVILLE: BORDEN'S MINCE MEAT

Just in time for Thanksgiving:

I hand colored this graphic from Elma R. Borden's book, "FROM LOCUST GROVE -1695 to GROVEVILLE 1980. Ms. Borden was the unofficial historian of Groveville.
It now reposes in the digital database of the Hamilton Library Local History Collection.

I was partial to Edgar Brick's Mincemeat, made in Crosswicks. BAck in the 70s, I was given a tour of the mill by Mr. Brick, himself. He included an explanation on all his wooden works clocks.

I still love the stuff. Maybe I'll make us a mincemeat pie for the THanksgiving holiday!
