A few visitors have asked for info on the old Centennial School on Whittaker Avenue in the Chambersburg area of Trenton. I recently un-covered the above graphics. These are probably older than those that are of interest to those who are interested in Centennial School, but they are still good recorded history. I will continue to keep a lookout for future material on this interesting school which was established to coincide with America's Centennial year of 1876.

Tom, any idea where on Whittaker Ave. this school was? At the intersection of Roebling where the current park is?
Of the teachers moved from Centennial, I recall Rose Rudener, an "old school" teacher if there ever was one. Not sure if she was at Junior Four or THS, but I do recall her as an active teacher.
SJBill:
Bill I had Rose Rudner at Junior Four in 7th grade for math. 1942-1943.
