1937: JEFFERSON SCHOOL HALLOWEEN PROGRAM

Could that little fellow identified as "Carmen Armenti" be our own former Trenton Mayor, the very popular Carmen Armenti? Only a visitor to this site with ties to the Armenti family can answer that question, or perhaps a member of Jefferson School during that era.

Mr. Armenti (and his father) frequented my Dad's Texaco Service Station on the corner of Princeton and Ingham Avenues in North Trenton, NJ. I am pretty sure that the student in the Jefferson School photo and the past Mayor of Trenton were one and the same. I believe they lived on English Alley, a street that paralleled Ingham from Ewing Township.
