1930: JUNIOR 4 AKA GRACE DUNN MIDDLE SCHOOL

The digital age is absolutely wonderful for those of us who are interested in history. Through the magic of digital imaging, a droll set of 3 yearbook pages can be cut, re-sized, re-positioned into an artistic vignette, and posted as an historic look back at the early years. Unfortunately, those who woud be most appreciative of this concept are senior citizens, the majority of whom are not interested in learning the computer. However, all is not lost. I will be exposing many seniors to these historic pages using on screen presentations at Kuser Farm mansion in the future. Indeed, when these pages are projected on the huge Kuser Farm theater Cinemascope screen, there are many "ooohhh's" and "Ahhh's."

How many remember Grace A. Dunn? How many remember when she blew her wistle the entire school stopped and you could hear a pin drop. Try that today in our school system.

My best years in Public school were those at Jr#4.Opperetta's The Student Prince, Mery widow played to packed house 2 or three nights...I wish the children of today's generation could see and appreciate such talent from his or her peers.

It warms the "cockles of me heart" to hear from alumni from Junior 4. Responses like those from Mack,Joe B., and Bill Barber make all the effort worthwhile. Thanks, guys.

The Operettas ened before I attended there. I abosultely remember the words, and compliment any female I see for wearing the Crimson and Blue, then sing the old school song.

It was a beautiful building.

Who knew it was right across the street from Hamilton Township! ;-)
