Perhaps a visitor can pinpoint this location if the taller building in the photo is still there.

Just wondering if that tall building is Weinberg's at beatty and S. Broad. The lot at the immediate right, behind the boxwood hedge, may be the site of the Winowicz Funeral Home on the corner of Adeline. I think I remember the hedge.
Behind the viewer's right ahould be the old A & P Market.
Correct me, but is there a church at the left of the field of view?
I agree that is Wineberg's at the corner of Beaty and Broad. There was no A&P at the time it came to be much later. The church Mr. Schultz describes is still standing on the corner of Adeline and Beatty Street. Up Adeline, a little ways, is Holy Cross Church.

Tom: I believe the gentleman is correct. Wineberg's on the corner of Beatty and Broad. I remember that now as I look at the picture posted.
