One of my loyal visitors to this website is Candy Frenking Jens, a gal who often corresponds with me as we banter about the "good old days." Candy, here's a little graphic I enhanced from an old
1928 Trenton newspaper. Note the 4 digit phone number, also not the street on which the Frenking business was located.

Thanks, Tom. This was the original site of the flower shop and greenhouses. I don't know when the Nottingham shop and greenhouses were built, but they were operating in 1932. They closed during WWII (shortage of fuel and personnel). The greenhouses were used again after the war, but not the shop. By 1953 a new flower shop was built on the Nottingham Way property, and the Ingham Ave. site was sold to C.V. Hill.
