This is one of the more rare historical items in my Hamilton Township collection. Prior to acquiring it back in the 1970's, I had no idea there was a Lakeview Hotel in Lakeside Park. It was located on the site of Dick Peterson's Service Station on South Broad and Lakeside Boulevard. I would guess that the above extract was circa 1914.

Tom - Thanks for article on Lakeview Hotel, later known as Curtin's Inn. Also, I believe the Shell Station is owned by Dick Peterson, not Eddie Peterson. Dick was a basketball star for good old HHS, Class of 1959, I think.

THANKS, ANONYMOUS VISITOR. I KNEW IT WAS DICK BUT ERRONEOUSLY ENTERED EDDIE'S NAME. I POSTED ANOTHER GRAPHIC ON THE LAKEVIEW HOTEL EARLIER, AND CORRECTLY LISTED DICK PETERSON.
