1916: APRIL TO JUNE CHRONOLOGY

UNLIKE THE CHRONOLOGIES FROM EARLIER IN THE CENTURY, THIS PARTICULAR ENTRY WAS PRINTED IN LARGER TYPE, PROVIDING AN INTERESTING GLIMPSE AT THE TRENTON IN THE WORLD WAR I ERA. I NOTE THE DEATH OF ONE OF HAMILTON'S NOTABLE PLAAG FAMIY, IDA, WHO DIED AT 21 YEARS OF AGE, AND ALSO THE DEATH OF HAMILTON HISTORIAN JOSEPH WEST.

Wow - a surprising number of suicides - especially as these were (and maybe still are) covered up when possible. Lots of accidents, too. Maybe these weren't the "good old days."
