1895: BROAD STREET PARK M.E. CHURCH

THE BUILDING IS STILL THERE, BUT THE CHURCH IS NO LONGER KNOWN AS THE BROAD STREET PARK METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH.

THIS EMAIL WAS RECEIVED FROM A VISITOR REGARDING MY RECENT POSTING OF ONE OF THE MANY DUCK ISLAND MURDERS. THE EMAIL AND MY REPLY FOLLOWS:
**********************************

About the cypress lane thing, there was a girl who died on cypress lane in a car accident in 2003 maybe I know it was in the 2000. As of the other murders on cypress lane, I was told that it happened on duck island's cypress lane, but that doesn't add up to the abandond drive way on hamilton's cypress lane. you should go to the library and look at the news paper records. (by the way I used to live on madeline court)

HI (NAME WITHELD)

YOU ARE REALLY CONFUSING ME! DUCK ISLAND MURDERS AND CYPRESS LANE MURDERS WERE AND ARE SEPERATE SITUATIONS. THERE IS NO PLACE IN HAMILTON KNOWN AS "DUCK ISLAND'S CYPRESS LANE." DUCK ISLAND IS ON LAMBERTON STREET BETWEEN SOUTH TRENTON AND BROAD STREET PARK. DUCK ISLAND WAS A POPULAR "LOVERS' LANE" BACK IN THE 1930'S AND EARLY 40'S, AND MANY MURDERS OCCURRED THERE. CYPRESS LANE IS ABOUT A MILE AND A HALF EAST IN HAMILTON, RUNNING BETWEEN HAMILTON AVENUE AND WHITE HORSE MERCERVILLE ROAD. AS TO YOUR SUGGESTION "YOU SHOULD GO TO THE LIBRARY AND LOOK AT THE NEWSPAPER RECORDS...." THAT'S MY JOB. I AM AT THE LIBRARY NEARLY EVERY DAY LOOKING THROUGH NEWSPAPER RECORDS. MANY THANKS FOR VISITING MY WEBSITE(S).
