St. Francis Hospital 1891

Compare today's huge St. Francis Medical Center with the austere facility in this engraving from "Trenton Illustrated," 1891. Don't miss the picket fence, the gaslight, and what appears to be a hitching post.

Cool -- my parents used to tell me I was born under a pear tree next to the church I think I see one there LOL of course, I was born inside our family restaurant was in the next block the hospital looks very much as I remember it as a kid
