THAT'S MY BROTHER BUD TOOLING ALONG THE LAWN AT THE PETERS HOUSE ON HARTLEY AVENUE HILL BACK IN 1949. THE CUSHMAN HAD A CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH WHICH SLOWLY DROVE THE LITTLE VEHICLE FORWARD. IT WAS A DREAM TO DRIVE, AND EVERY KID IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WANTED ONE.
