1935: TRENTON HIGH GIRLS DURING THE DEPRESSION


THE GREAT DEPRESSION WAS ALIVE AND WELL BACK THERE IN THE 1930'S WHEN THE GALS AT TRENTON CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL EMBARKED ON A PROJECT TO MAKE THEIR OWN GOWNS FOR THEIR SOCIAL EVENTS. THIS WAS JUST A SMALL PART OF WHAT MADE THIS GENERATION BECOME KNOWN AS "THE GREATEST GENERATION."
