A FAMILIAR SITE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF HAMILTON. THE AGE ON THIS TREE IS THE SUBJECT OF CONTROVERSY. MANY PEOPLE SAY IT WAS THERE WHEN GEORGE WASHINGTON JOURNEYED TO PRINCETON IN 1777. I PERSONALLY WONDER ABOUT THAT SPECULATION.

This tree is beautiful old and definitely be preserved conserved and note General Washington rested all over the great state of NJ because we were the crossroads and retreat routes of our American Revolution and many battles were fought here and conserve and observe our tree
