SWITLIK PARACHUTE COMPANY: Whenever I think of Switlik's I think of one of my very dear friends from my old neighborhood. Carrie and Steve Horvath lived on the opposite corner of Hartley Avenue all during the years of my youth, and Carrie is still there. Steve was an old time employee of the Switlik Company, and in later years, a fellow member of the late, lamented St. Anthony Holy Name Society. I can see Steve, now, with the ever present Stogie and the always pleasant sense of humor.
