It is an unfortunate truth that many old photographs turn up with no date, no identification. Such is the case with these two photos. If anyone has an idea as to the locations, I would like to hear about it.
When I first enhanced them, I thought that perhaps they were taken at the Whitehead Rubber plant out on Whitehead Road at the Lawrence border. The building with the old brown "Hummelstown" brick looks like the old Whitehead plant, while the auto in the photo looks like it could be parked across the street next to that newer red brick building.
I received this comment from my colleague and fellow historian, Gordon Kontrath:

Goodall Rubber, but it was some other type of mill before that.
