EARLY COMPUTING
COMPUTERS: YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY, BABY!
Check out this ad for a state of the art computer of just 20 years ago. The Atari, the Apple, and how about the Radio Shack TRS80, better known as the "Trash 80?" The first computer I recall used a system known as "CPM." It was a system similar to MS-Dos, but much more complicated. DON'T MISS THE "HOT" SOFTWARE AVAILABLE FOR THE ATARI AS SHOWN IN THE BOTTOM OF THE AD! The screen on that Atari would be a monochrome screen and the letters one would type would appear with jagged edges, far removed from today's hi-definition monitors.
