My dear friend and colleague Bob Immordino, American-Italian historian and Lawrence Township historian has asked that we not refer to those of Italian descent as Italian-Americans. Rather, the term "American-Italian" is much more appropriate. I agree Bob, and my file folder in the Hamilton Library's Local History has been renamed. My file of the local American-Italian eperience is very comprehensive and growing every day.
