Would you believe that this exquisite photo of Miss Lacy's Kuser School class project was destined for the recycle bin? My recent "Sentimental Journey" column in the Trenton Times recalled my years as a 5th grade student at Kuser in Miss Lacy's class back in the 1940's. This could very well have been from my class. I know we did study feudalism and the middle ages when I was in 5th grade. However, pencilled in on the back of the photo is "Miss Lacy 6th grade). I don't recall Miss Lacy being a teacher in 6th grade. Miss Julia McLain held that position at Kuser for many years. I believe the notation to be an error.
