1909: Radio: Time for Regulation

Back in 1909 there was a plethora of confusion on that new marvel of the age, "wireless" communication. Perhaps the graphic in this post represents the very early years of what would ultimately become the Federal Communications Commission. Today, the term "SOS" is well known as a distress signal. Back in the embryonic stages of radio, the distress signal was "CQD." There are numerous interesting files in the "RADIO" folder, and they will eventually be brought to my site.
