Samuel Meyer Stark, my great-grandfather, was the first rabbi of Brothers of Israel. According to my late father and uncle, he came to Trenton from Brooklyn in the late 1860s, ministered to nine German Jewish families, who in 1881 bought a church on Warren Street. He died from pneumonia in 1888 after helping people in the blizzard of 1888.
I would appreciate any other information about Rabbi Stark.
