This view from 1934 shows Calhoun Street as it approaches the Calhoun Street bridge. The building on the right is the Glen Cairn Arms, once a housing complex for the more affluent Trentonians. Today, it is in very sad condition; a victim of neglect and abuse.

My father's Great Aunt Catherine Burk McArdle worked at the Glen Cairn Arms when Dad (Bill Tallon) was growing up. He would have been around 14 years old in 1934 so his Aunt Catherine may have been in the building at the time this photograph was taken! Beth Tallon
